This Thanksgiving Table Decor has simplicity and elegance. Food brings the family together, and this is the ultimate Holiday for eating, so it’s essential to set the right theme. Since there are so many dishes and sides, I set out a buffet-style dinner, which allows me to have more fun with the table décor. This year I wanted a clean look, so I decided to do a neutral palette with creams and soft gold. Since I like to change up the décor from year to year, I don’t want to spend a lot. I found nearly everything on Amazon.
Neutral Thanksgiving Table Decor
I started with a simple cream and gray table runner and laid out the centerpiece, filling the whole area. Keeping the centerpiece narrow and long allows each guest to enjoy the view from their seat since it stretches nearly the entire length. The cotton stems with marigold colored leaves added just the right amount of color without straying too far from my neutral palette. I was completely surprised by how good the quality was and the care in the packaging. Each cotton steam came wrapped individually, and the boxes were very sturdy, perfect for storing them year after year.
I found all white pumpkins and already had spray paint from previous projects, so I gave them two quick coats in the colors Ivory Silk and Gilded Brass by Rust-Oleum. I used regular craft paint in brown to touch up the stems on the cream pumpkins.
The pinecones are an assortment of small and medium sizes, and snuggled within the arrangement are mercury-gold candlestick holders. I decided to keep the candles on the lower side, so no one needs to stretch to see one another.
My everyday dishes were perfect for my place settings since they are cream and the ivory napkins with metallic gold and silver thread added just a slight shimmer.
Whatever your table looks like, the important part is that you are all together celebrating this time of year.
Happy Thanksgiving from The HoneyBee!
